Well hopefully I can gather new friends and old friends alike, following me on my Hip Dysplasia journey. I’m now a double hip replacement girl, but previously on my old blog debbiehipster.wordpress.com I cover surgeries such as Triple Pelvic Osteotomy, a Valgus Osteotomy (lengthened femur by 2 inches) and FO (a derotated femoral osteotomy) Metal screws and plates removal surgeries. Cortisone injections, Hip arthroscopic surgery, and finally 2 custom made hip replacements. And now as my hips are fixed ish (maybe as well as they can be)…. I’m falling into other joints needing work, as unfortunately I have both Ehlers Danlos Syndrome as well as Arthritis. So it’s my hands next that need fixing unfortunately.

Anyways hopefully I can get the hang of this new place, it’s a New Moon today so new beginnings and fresh start, felt right to start today.

Illness has struck the Moon household, so we are isolating ourselves and staying in, while Mr Moon feels so poorly. So no walks this week, but I’ve been religious with my at home physio. Weather has been weird this week, from proper sun to snow and freezing, I’m not sure we would of walked this week anyways.
