Sunday I found myself mainly resting, due to the horrendous leg cramp I got in the night. Soon woke me up, and while that only lasted around 2 minutes, the residual pain however lasted all day and night.

Not sure if it was dehydration or lack of salts, or even just being on my feet for so long that caused it. All I could think of doing was taking it easy, take my meditation and drink plenty of fluids.

Monday I felt loads better thankfully, and could put partial weight on the leg, but still swollen at the top of thigh, so I did decide to rest more, while being semi productive in household chores. I have realised we have our camping holiday in a mere 9 days time, so I will have to put major physio on hold, while I pack and organise myself. But I think for certain I can’t ditch the walking stick, even though I’m now 11mths post op!!

So podgey and swollen at the top

I’m taking a step back from the exercises I was doing prior and taking an opportunity to do some stretches and get the swelling down first. Hopefully walking about will be physio enough.

Prone lying knee raise X 10 reps
Clams have proved hard to do, so I wonder if Side leg lifts are ok X 10 reps

And to ease the tightness in my back and hips, I am rocking the knees side to side.

10 reps

It’s been over 3 weeks now since the Psoas steroid and has it worked? I honestly don’t think so. I believe I’m going to try and ring the hospital and find out when and if I’m due to be seen again soon (well around August) Tried ringing all Tuesday but no luck, phone kept going unanswered. So will keep at it this week. At least next Wednesday I have a physio appointment.
