I thoroughly enjoyed the programme when I first did it, and although I did try a new one, the original 30days of yoga with Adriene, it wasn’t for me.

After 2 days of this new programme I knew it was wrong for me. It was far too advanced, fast and straight into it as if you’ve been doing yoga for years. So instead I’m teaming up with Mr Moon and we are doing Revolution again. And we’ve done a week now together. It’s a perfect one to start with.

I must say though, just because I’ve started adding yoga into my life, it’s not CURED my chronic pain, or my disability and Positive Thinking won’t cure me either!! But it is helping me focus on other things besides pain. Anyone telling you Yoga will cure you is just straight up lying to you. And if you do embark on a Yoga journey, please stay in your RANGE, your LIMITS. I do not, nor will I ever make the same shapes as the Yoga teacher, or probably most people, but I can be more mindful of my own posture, how I breathe, and stretch with more support.

Nice to have actual company doing this, we have giggles and fight for a bit of space. But to have this 30mins each day togethet to start the day is beautiful.

I’m meant to be doing Single leg hip bridges and I’ve tried, really tried. I can do about 4 reps. But what is happening afterwards is me not feeling comfortable at all, for days it’s a deep pain and weakness. So I’m debating whether to carry on? I can ask my surgeon next week at least. Yoga was helping me feel stronger both physically and mentally, and this physio undid this, by now feeling broken, limited, disabled. I understand stretches and physio can ache, but should it really make you not move for 4 days afterwards??
