After my big emotional upheveal on Thursday night, we were rewarded with the brand new film of Hocus Pocus 2 coming out on the Friday. A rubbish Thursday night full of tears, made way for a lovely Friday of Chinese takeaway, as it was softer foods (face still aching around the mouth) and getting snuggly for Hocus Pocus.

Researched the first one, and I swear I enjoy it more and more as the years go by. Mr Moons first time watching it (how is this possible) and to my surprise he absolutely loves it. (He does not like much at all movie wise, so this film is honoured) and seeing this made all my problems melt away for 90 ish minutes.

Super nervous to watch at first, but eager to keep my mind occupied and happy, we decided to watch. And while I prefer the original children as their acting seemed more flawless, I can say wholeheartedly I absolutely LOVED this one too. I was scared it would be cringe, too awkwardly camp. But they soon flew out my mind, I spent every minute in awe and laughing. Priceless. I will have to watch again nearer Samhain night.

Saturday arrived and to keep myself going I dived in Halloween Town and it has 4 films to keep me going. Just wish they hadn’t recast Marnie in number 4, not that the actress wasn’t good as she was. Just felt weird it not being the original when everyone else was.

Sunday I wasn’t feeling to great so it was more resting and getting mentally prepared for the dentist again Monday.
