This week I had official physiotherapy seen Here. Still sore from it now days later 🙄🙄🙄 My second lot of Yoga With Adriene Revolution has now finished. So the quandary was to return to traditional physio exercises or embark on another 30 day session with Adriene but a different one, as I’ve done Revolution twice. I tried the original 30 days of yoga but I found this one far too advanced for me.

Physio have insisted I do these, they hurt so much though. But I guess I have to listen and try more. Though I’m still sore from doing them at physio on Tuesday. So far I’m just about managing 3 with a 3 second hold.

We have to decided to try 30 days of Yoga Camp. Looking forward to doing this and hopefully incorporate the dreaded hip bridges too. I love yoga for the mindfulness and meditation of it all, it seems to be healing my mental health, as well as helping me accept my body as it is, and stop chasing the ‘normal’ I believe it should be. I think very little is said about medical trauma, and gaslighting situations. It builds up and has needed an outlet.

I’m still only using the 1.5cm insoles as moving up to the 2.5cm ones scare me, I see podiatry next week so I need to discuss this with him. Back pain is forever present. The 1.5cm ones are starting to feel more normal under my feet, though at times I can really feel the square under the arch of the foot. I know it’s to stop my ankles rolling, so I will persevere.

As you can see even the 1.5cm insole is still a massive difference to normal. It’s definitely hard to get used too, the material is rock hard on your feet too, so no cushioning.
