Hipster

It’s physio time and I feel the same sense of dread and trepidation as ever!! Surely I shouldn’t feel this way? This time I am armed with the photo of the CT scan, and maybe I can gleam some physiotherapist insight on the pelvic obliquity.

Fears averted, I was actually praised for how much better I am at the Single Leg Hip Bridges. Though now the goal posts have moved to a 5 Second Hold X10 reps. But this feels more possible than previously.

Keeping the straight leg in line with knee and count 5 seconds, then lower. X 10 Reps both sides

We assessed the Clams, and they are pretty strong, even though I hate them. Do now to incorporate a hold in the reps.

Start with a 3 Second Hold x1 10 Reps, both sides

Hip hitching pretty good, so again time to add a Hold to them.

Another starting at 3 Second Hold X 10 Reps. Left hip ONLY

And lastly a Side Leg Raise, to lift off the floor and hover and raise for 10 Reps. Try not to put leg down touching the floor until I’ve done 10 Reps.

Up to 10 Reps both sides

Heaps to do and practice with, won’t see physio now until Mid January so really hoping I can hit these targets she has set me.
