Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

We’ve been on a go slow recently, something has felt ‘off’ probably under the weather, but it’s affected physio, yoga and walking.

The flat terrain walk we did around canal and river hurt my lower back and hips far more than it should have, and it’s taken days to ‘recover’ I say in brackets as it’s not truly recovered, just a more manageable level.

My brain is gearing up for my left hand surgery, so physio and yoga sessions are slowing down naturally, as I won’t be able to do them while my hand is in a cast. I’m hoping to find a hands free yoga, chair areobics type to activity.

This week I popped my beloved Hot Water Bottle, not surprising really as I use them all day and all night every day. But I’m still devastated, though I expected it. So that’s not helped my lower back pain, as I use that predominantly for pain relief.

While I’m recovering the hand, I am keen to keep the physio going for the hips, so I figured I can do some hip basics while in bed. I mean the heel slide one is still painful to do.

I hope these will all be doable though in a sling, but I am open to just rest it that feels best, as I know I have a tendancy to rush to be fixed, and I know I can’t do that with my hand. Just hoping I don’t lose what strength I have gained.
