THE DETECTIVES

THE SETTING

My Review Joy Ellis is becoming a firm favourite, alongside Stewart Giles, both of which I would have never of discovered without this tour. While I think you can easily understand this book alone, it would be nice to go back and see how the characters and their relationships develop.

Jackman and Evans work so well together, and it’s a gripping pace throughout the book. Chapter after chapter take your breath away, complex and well woven together, you’ll find yourself almost wanting to speed through it, it will take strong willpower to stop and saviour it.

Film crew are in Saltern-Le-Fen and a body turns up, covered in oil, a very expensive oil. This is intriguing and confusing. While everyone is buzzing that the film crew are filming a police drama, Jackman isn’t, he’s got a tip off which is concerning.
