In true Halloween spirit, I’m surrounded by my creepy ghosts and pumpkins, it’s time for spooky films, and thrillers. October is a month of traveling and adventures, so no time for films then. So get them all in now!

Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her younger sister find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.
Genuinely scary and so well made, just the perfect film to watch but not too late at night, as it certainly creeped me out.

A shocking deed turned their weekend trip into a nightmare. Now their only hope is to swallow their paranoia and act normal.
My favourite film so far, it was nail biting, stressful, hard to watch and gives you a moral dilemma, what would you do? Epic film.

A newly-possessed high-school cheerleader turns into a succubus who specializes in killing her male classmates. Can her best friend put an end to the horror?
Who doesn’t enjoy this film, I wish it wasn’t based on the true murder story, but then it does keep Elyse Pahler’s name in my mind, and give honour to her. But if you don’t know the murder story, then it’s an excellent film. Elyse’s Story is Here

A leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when a group of friends and a fellow tourist embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.
Campy horror, but it was good to watch. I love horrors like this, so they don’t really scare you. So gross in places, and definitely puts you off traveling, bit like calibre above too!!
