As I heal well from this super successful surgery, the 19 week steroid injection in the opposite hand is becoming more and more of an issue 😭 but I’m holding on, hoping for a winter surgery. Though not sure how this ties into my super urgent hydro sessions needed for my left hip, starting in December 🤦🏻♀️
So difficult to juggle multiple surgeries, treatment and recovery plans. A steroid injection is badly needed for the left hips psoas, along with hydrotherapy to get this leg length/ tilted pelvis working better. I’m literally falling apart!! But this injection needs to be timed after dental surgery but before my right hand has surgery. I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually. Least dental surgery is done now. That’s one thing ticked off the list. But now it’s done, I’m recovering from that, so for now I can’t do yoga or hip physio. But luckily I can do hand physio.

Week 27 Week 28 you can see the difference in strength in 1 week, with these youtube shorts. Aches less doing these stretches too. I have noticed if I don’t do stretches it starts to seize up,and it makes it hard to move it. So move little and often everyday, even without bands on, just practice stretching fingers wide, and making a fist.
I also like to keep the joint warm around my coffee cup, as it’s more stiff if it’s colder, and it’s definitely getting colder at night and first thing in the morning. So i always warm it up first then exercise, once I feel some stiffness ease off.
