Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

Still forever watching new horrors, old horrors and thrillers for spooky season. Doing it now while we can, as we have some big travels for the month of October.

T.I.M

Prosthetics engineer Abi moves to the countryside to work on Integrate Robotic’s latest product – a humanoid artificial intelligence called T.I.M. – Technologically. Integrated. Manservant. This was an intelligent horror, taping into your fears if AI taking over. Well it’s always been a fear of mine, I’m scared of robots.

Til Death Do Us Part

After bailing on her wedding, a former bride-to-be must fight off her ex-groom and seven angry killer groomsmen in order to survive the night. Really similar to Ready Or Not. Had a chance to really pad this out, intriguing past plot, but didn’t quite get there. Good enough for simple entertainment.

The Unbinding

After finding a strange statue in the Catskills, hikers become the target of chilling paranormal phenomena. As the activity escalates, occult researchers Greg and Dana Newkirk are called to uncover the truth behind the haunted artifact. Documentary and factual on Salvic Paganism, folklore. I loved it. But it’s not a film of fiction or for entertainment. It’s about learning.

Killer Book Club

Eight horror-loving friends fight for their lives when a killer clown who seems to know the grim secret they share begins to pick them off, one by one. Teen Slasher from Spain, absolutely LOVED it. Really good plot, kept us guessing until the end.

Tin And Tina

Two orphaned twins are taken into a convent, where they receive a strict education. Soon, a young couple adopts the twins, whose obsession with religion soon disrupts the family. Another Spanish horror on Netflix, super creepy religious albino twins, are they just damaged or truly evil. Good film.

I have to say that I’m not good with horrors – I like thrillers but horror is out of my comfort zone! I once bit my husband’s hand at the cinema when we saw something scary and I can’t even remember the name of the film! lol! x

I don’t like graphic horrors or adult horrors, I like them campy and cheesy. Can’t watch things like wolf creek, or saw it’s too adult for me
