It’s been such an adventure finding new and old movies alike, things I’ve never thought about watching before.

A woman awakens from a car wreck suffering from amnesia and returns to the childhood home where the rest of her family was massacred. As she investigates, strange clues within her photos suggest she may have been responsible. This was such an incredible film, I love the slow burn, the questions of it all, and the revealing it all. Not a traditional horror/thriller but an excellent one.

After the death of his wife and daughter in a car crash, a music professor staying at a long-vacant Seattle mansion is dragged into a decades-old mystery by an inexplicable presence in the mansion’s attic. This one was recommended by my friend (thank you) I absolutely adore films like this, the suggestion of haunts, and mystery to unravel, another excellent film. And it being from the 1980s is a bonus, can’t beat older films for feels.

In a small town, brutal killings start to plague the close knit community. Marty Coslaw, a paraplegic boy, is convinced the murders are the doings of a werewolf. Another incredible film recommended to me, (thank you so much) I absolutely adored this film. This one I hadn’t even heard of somehow. So glad I watched it.

Teenager Nancy Thompson must uncover the dark truth concealed by her parents after she and her friends become targets of the spirit of a serial killer with a bladed glove in their dreams, in which if they die, it kills them in real life. One of the first horrors I ever saw, and I was hooked. I loved this franchise, yes a couple went weird. But overall Freddie is the best villain.

A teenage boy is haunted in his dreams by deceased child murderer Freddy Krueger, who is out to possess him in order to continue his reign of terror in the real world. Had to continue and watch more! Classics I tell you. Super cheesy and camp but so 80s so I love it.
