We’ve been away and it’s been a walking holiday, and due to elbow pain, I had to swap my walking pole from my right hand into my left (fusion hand). In a weird way this is helpful, as in Jan 2024 hopefully the right hand will have had surgery, so I need to learn to walk with my left holding the pole or walking stick, to give me stability.
This increased weight through the hand, and more strength needed has certainly been a test, and while it’s had its tender feeling moments, it coped well. I even slipped a few times on the wooden floor in the cottage and had to save myself by putting the hand outstretched. Besides being a bit achy, swollen it again coped with the extra demands I put it through.

Right hand is just giving me hell lately and effecting the elbow as I said. Roll on January
