Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

Omg it’s nearly a Year!! And boy it’s flown by. And like last year, I’m on a count down for surgery again, though on 26th march this time, so a bit later than last year’s on 2nd march. Who would of thought I’d be doing daily yoga on this fused hand? Certainly not me, my only hope prior to this surgery was to be free of the relentless pain, and the limitations of holding zips, turning keys etc. I can whole heartedly say it’s exceeded my expectations.

Got a new bag for my tablets and I love it, makes it easier to have them all together in a small bag I can carry around. Pill kitty badge is firmly on the new medicine bag.

I got myself some Pjs from Tiktok shop Available here *but I would receive a small commission if you bought from this link*  ready for my recovery. It’s something I always love to buy when I’m having surgery. Though not my beloved brand of Chelsea Peers, but these were less than £10.00

I’m on a slipper hunt, they need to have backs, and outdoor soles. Mine at home need replacing as well, so it’s a good time to replace ready for hospital, and recovery. I want rubber soled ones as I find they do last longer. I’m edging towards the Pink Camo ones from ASOS Available here

Enjoying having some nails on for a few events coming up, before being plain again for surgery. Always nice to wear them and feel ‘less’ old and arthritic.

I’m trying to think what other things I need to buy, or use during recovery, I’m definitely starting to batch cook and freeze soon, get organised and plan things.

The right hand is now requiring a brace everyday, ibuprofen gel and compression gloves, so I’m really pleased it’s not long to wait now. Though nerves are kicking in…..

As of 21st February when I wrote this post.
