I can’t believe it’s a year. What a wild ride.  My latest youtube short showing how strong it is.

I have to remind myself for the new upcoming surgery, that 6 weeks in a cast isn’t as long as you think, the pain will pass, but remember to take meds before pain as chasing it away is harder than prevention of pain. Elevation is your best friend, and so is ice!! My latest YouTube short showing you how weak this one is compared to the one above.

I am nervous, but at least I have such an amazing success story on the left, which builds up my confidence, and gets me to look passed the first 6 weeks.

I realised the only thing I CANT do is make a fist with the thumb tucked under the fingers. But I can with the thumb over the fingers. So if that’s all I can’t do, I am taking that!! See Barbie/Lego hand here

I’ve started to practice writing with my left hand, as I’m a notorious diary keeper and list maker, and it dawned on me I wouldn’t be able too, so I’m attempting writing with the left, with some hilarious results.

Practise makes perfect though right?? I wonder if I will get back to making jewellery after the dominant hand? I hope so 😃
