A few films and series we have watched this month, not a wealth of shows admittedly but they’ve been really good.

After raising an unnervingly talented spider in secret, 12-year-old Charlotte must face the facts about her pet-and fight for her family’s survival-when the once-charming creature rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster.
I actually LOVED this, it was funny, it was camp, it was gruesome, and I was thoroughly entertained. I’m not a creature feature fan normally, but this was just the right amount of daftness.

A fever dream action film that follows Boy, a deaf person with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, he is trained by a mysterious shaman to repress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.
Apparently this is a video game that the film is based on. I have no clue. It’s immensely graphic, very comic style, unusual in plot and how it’s filmed. Main character is a mute and deaf which makes it more interesting. Yes tonnes of fighting, but again massively entertained.

Get in the carriage, it’s time for Bridgerton Season 3. Part 1 is now streaming, bringing all the swoons — and surprises — with it.
At the center of the ballroom will be wallflower (and secret scandal sheet writer) Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and her longtime crush, world traveler Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). That means this spring will officially be filled with #Polin, as fans have nicknamed the duo, and you’re about to see Penelope and Colin in a whole new way when they step into the spotlight. As the trailer reveals, there may just be more than “friendship” brewing between them. Keep reading below for all the juicy Season 3 details worthy of Lady Whistledown’s next dispatch, including the photos and video clips from the now-available episodes and hints of what’s to come in Part 2, which will be available later this summer.
A guilty pleasure of mine, I forgot how much I loved this, I binged watched all 4 episodes in one day. Get swept away with the romance and dresses and gossip, a perfect escape from the world’s negativities.

The violent attack on a teenage girl in a tidal islet in which group of teens from disparate backgrounds, each of whom could have committed the crime, along with their parents.
Hit or miss, the accents are terrible on some. The Liverpool accent is often strange on non Liverpudlian actors, and as a northerner I find I hear it more. Story line ok, but I don’t like the teen sex angle, so this felt harder to watch than others.
