I haven’t been for such a long time, so for my birthday we decided a visit was a good way to spend my birthday. But I can’t lie the amount of walking does concern me.

I truly debated taking a mobility scooter. But it turned out eventually decision was made as we had no room in the car for it. Could have hired one, but did need more notice. Nice not to have one as it was SO BUSY but at the same time, my back and hips would have LOVED it.

I’m trying to photograph some butterflies 🦋🦋🦋🦋

I wore sandals which aren’t the most supportive shoes, but it was boiling hot. And I used my walking stick, and considering it was super hot, and so much walking, my hips did ok, and my hand on the stick. Needed a massive rest for a few days afterwards though!!

Loved having a slow stroll throughout the day, with plenty of stops and sitting down.

My lower back is my biggest issue from the longer leg. But I felt my outer older hip held out better this time.

I presume this is just a pain I’ll have forever, but I sure would like to be able to cope better. Though I only took 0.3ml CBD/TBC oil, and 3 tramadol over the entire day. I try to take as least amount I can. Hoping I can get back to more yoga now the hand is 18 weeks post op.
