Holy moly if I was pregnant I’d be half way through the 40weeks and getting a gender scan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but no, it’s about my hand of course.

Crazy to say it now, but I feel like it’s flown, yet if you’d asked me at 6 weeks I would have said it dragged like hell. And I put that down to now being nicely busy, and using the hand to its fullest potential now.

Practising putting my hand flat on the wall, and taking my weight. Can bring on weakness in the elbow, but also sharp stabby pains in wrist. I do a 30 second hold a few times a day to build up.
Still quite puffy swollen around the base of thumb, towards the wrist.
Doing 10 reps of these to build up arm strength, elbow and of course wrist
Holding for 30 seconds x 3 a day

Slow and steady to build up the wrist for yoga. As the lure of Yoga with Adriene is great.

Wondering if I should mention that I often have swelling at the distal radius area, but I’ve not injured it. It’s probably just arthritis but it would be nice to have it checked.

I suspect it’s now swollen after two days of walking and using the arm,wrist on a walking pole.

Once I’ve iced it and it’s settled down, I will embark on some strengthening exercises..
