Revisiting an old favourite walk, Padley Gorge. We often try to go in Autumn as it’s so beautiful, but it’s been warm and I need woodland shelter, rather than baking hill tops.

The dabbled light is making it all look so magickal and enchanting. Plus it’s lovely to get a shade from the trees.

So many nooks and crannies to sit at, eat our sandwiches and have a drink. Dunk our hot achy feet. Really needed. So nice to recharge and cleanse ourselves.

This walk concluded our mini getaway in the peak district. Weather was kind and it was exactly what we needed.
