This morning it’s Thursday and best weather day!! So off to do Lydford Gorge with our free national trust voucher. Perfect timing as it runs out the following day.

Coming back from lydford gorge not as much fun, car develops new noise and it feels like we are breaking down 😭 limped it back to lodge, as we check out on Friday, and re check into new accommodation.

Check into this crazy Gun Room at Hengar Manor.

Looks amazing and it really sold it to us, we found out afterwards it’s pet friendly (I’m very allergic to fur 😭) and the kitchen window has zero coverage so at night you can see straight through. Not ideal, when sitting watching tv in full view of folks walking passed.

But we must make the most of it, as we have 7 days here. Not sure what we can do as car is scary to take anywhere at the moment. Did not see the ghost that haunts this old vault which housed the armoury at one point, but the veil is thinning, so you never know, she may pay us a visit….
