I was super eager for this one, as it falls so nicely near Yule. Now I’ve not managed a lot of Yule activities I would have loved to have done, but days I wasn’t doing chores or seeing much needed people, I had to rest as the hip as been actually terrible.

This month is themed as Sacred Space and I knew this would actually be more suited to me after yule and more towards January. As we are embarking on a new shift of energies after Christmas period.

As we know before you embark on any ritual work, you need a good cleanse and set your sacred space, so its a brilliant New Year New Start.

Starting with this month’s Art Print, and i have to say it’s my favourite one to date!! It’s woodcut style and reminds me of Patrick Valenza tarot deck artwork.

Black Walnut Spell Work Board, using Black Walnut wood as its associated with wisdom, inspiration, clarity and focus. Exactly what we need for our spells.

Charming Altar Bell, everyone knows how to smoke cleanse, but did you know you can sound cleanse too. As well ringing the start and end of Rituals, the sound moves energies and helps banish negativity.

Black Walnut Black Ash Collector, aka Incense stick holder, but wide enough to collect the ash, so you can make Black Salt, which is used for protection.

Embroidered Wall Hanging, a bubbling cauldron under a crescent moon embroidery. Hang in your sacred space to mark your area for magickal workings.

Ornate Altar Box, Brass coloured trinket box, to keep your curiosities and oddities in.

Enamel Pin of the month is a Black Spell Candle (reminds me of Hocus Pocus)

Larvikite Crystal of the month, one i don’t actually own yet, so i was hugely pleased to have this. This crystal is a protective and grounding stone, which aids you to connect to the Earth’s energies. This also helps you through transitions and adapt to changes (we definitely need this)

Incense sticks to Banish Negativity and quite possibly the nicest smelling incense ever!! Lavender and Rosemary. “I banish negativity from this space, Rosemary and Lavender, cleanse this place, bad vibes be gone, leave no trace”

Parchment Scroll of the month is all about how to raise your vibrations higher and use them for your magick.
