Just by chance while doom scrolling tiktok, I came across an author, who told us in her video how she had started writing her book Lies we tell the Moon at 19years old.  Tiktok video here The blurb captivated me, so when I saw another video (Arc readers video here) of hers asking for ARC readers I jumped at the chance.

My Review First off I’m captivated and pulled in with the beautiful descriptions, likeable and relatable characters. But most of all the plot unfolding before me, allowing a full immersion of different realms, the dilemmas our protagonist is facing.

The pacing of the book is nice, not too full speed ahead so I’m flustered, nor too slow so I’m bored and losing interest.

Easy to visualise the characters, their relationships, and locations. Be whisked away for pure escapism into a fantasy world.
