Sadly the phone pre op assessment wasn’t enough, I also need to visit the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital for Bloods and Swabs.

I’m sure I’ll be here for a grand total of 5mins really. And back again in 4 days for the actual surgery. It’s all systems go go go….

The bonus of it being arranged quickly is, you don’t have time to worry about things too much. I feel as long as I can find the ice packs I’ll be fine. (Which i have done now)

Of course we were shattered and feeling like lead going, as I’d overdone a beautiful walk in nature on Thursday (Spring Equinox Ostara, so had to get out into nature) worth it though!!

Traffic was hellish too. Driving to Brum is awful most days but on Fridays it’s worse.

Ace book to entertain me on the journey at least.

Oh my God it was only swabs!! So barely in there 2 mins 🤣🤣🤣🤣 for 3hrs of being in the car. Oh well it’s done now. Roll on Tuesday.
