Hipster

Micats this week was different, as now I’ve had hand surgery (mcp metalwork removal and tendon release) I can’t do traditional physio exercises.

Instead I’ve had to ask for more sitting or standing ones to work the spine, hips and knees.

So to replace the Hip Bridges we have Pelvic Tilts on a chair.

As I have a lot of mid back ache as well as lower, we also have so twists to do. Advised to have a pillow between knees to make sure hips don’t twist too.

Next up we have some half squats, arms crossed at chest. Making sure I’m evenly distributed as i have a habit of leaning more on one side and being uneven in load bearing, totally ‘feels’ wrong to do it correctly, so hard too. But that’s what is needed.

And sticking to the given Romanian Deadlifts as well, but with my one hand upright, while it’s healing.

Feeling a bit more positive and proactive in my physio. Though I’m about to lose her end of April, and being passed onto someone else, which is soul destroying. She’s been the first one to really see how the leg length difference and scoliosis is affecting me daily.
