We managed to get outside and about over the Easter holidays to celebrate St George’s Day.

We walked around the outer parts of Tameorth Castle

Loved seeing the cute owls and falcons.

Such cute birds, we watched them fly later in the day.

Stone urns dotted around the place.

The bandstand was fenced off sadly but we could still enjoy it from below.

They had a full Viking/Medieval Village, with traditional crafts going on, perfect for children to learn new things.

Traditional leather crafts being sown together.

We watched a full Medieval battle going on, full of energy and amazing acting.

Absolutely adored this Friesan horse, it had such grace and beauty. Amazing talented riders. The Knights of Nottingham

Horses were so well behaved considering the crowds and fair ground noises all around them. A joy to watch them preform as knights steeds.
Weather was pretty pants, typical British weather of grey skies and rain, cold too. But we didn’t let it dampen our day.

Ended the evening here for a few minutes listening to the Canadian Geese honking and the lake gently lapping the shore, all in all an excellent day out, the perfect distraction to all our health woes.
