As I’ve alluded to prior, I’m still having issues with hot flushes, then feeling freezing cold, joint aches as well but on top of the usual pain, along with insomnia and racing heart.
All these symptoms overlap from graves and perimenopause which makes it harder to know what is truly going on.
So I’m back at the GPs to discuss that although my TSH level is normal, its on the lower scale. And to request to have T3 and T4 levels requested. As so many symptoms I’ve had that I’ve thought were mcas or pots, could well have been thyroid all along.

Or it simply is perimenopause and mcas and pots, and is there some way to control the symptoms? As they are hindering my life and I want my normal physio, walking life back.

She agreed to the extra blood tests, these are booked in for next week, wish it could have been sooner, and asked if I’d heard about the 24hr wearable ecg which I’ve not heard from them yet.
I was hoping she could help give me something to stop the heart palpitations and hot flushes but alas nothing yet. Feeling a tad at a loss to how to fix myself and stop feeling like I’m exhausted all the time.
