Hipster

What a week, we’ve visited Scotland on holiday and for once the hips behaved, however my back and right knee are a whole different story,  so much so I’m actually eager to see my Physiotherapist.

I think I have a meniscus tear, in the inner area. So a medial tear. I hear you can only see them with an mri, so maybe worth seeing a gp and physiotherapist to see what they think.

Seem some great sights on holiday and the walking has been my physio. But now I’m home, its time to get more targeted exercises in.

Hamstring curls, using a resistance band
Heel slides
Clamshell exercise, old nemesis one
Partial lunges, use weights to help keep equal balance.
Mini squats, keep the load knee over ankle.

These are also helpful for hips and the back. I’m hoping when I see my Physiotherapist i can request that they start to treat the whole body, rather than spot treat certain body parts. As I’m about to see them over my elbow as well.

Safe to say my body is crumbling away and I need help holding it together.
