I’d love to say it’s been going well, but its actually a much harder process than it used to be 20yrs ago.

Now we are competing with 15 to 30 other people,  some are in such demand than even though I’ve requested to view them, I’m on a waitlist as the viewings are already fully booked, that is on the day the advert goes live.

So it’s like a mad scrum to view and accept that rents are now triple what they were, and most newer properties have no drives and no garages either, and bizarrely only 1 reception room too.

So this gives us much accessing in our lives as we have a 2 bed bungalow with front room, dining room, and kitchen, even a small conservatory too as well as large bathroom and 2 good sized bedrooms. Big garden and garage. Why are we moving? No choice sadly as our landlord is selling.

While I believe our landlord is selling due to age. This country has changed laws around landlords which has caused a huge upset and now a lot of landlords are choosing to sell up.

What are we all meant to do? As much as I love my stuff, the urge to buy a van and be nomadic is getting more and more appealing. Though how would my disabled body cope?

We have time, but time is sure ticking by super fast. So far we have viewed a property too small (I would have to get rid of all of my furniture to fit in) or if they have the size, they are a huge strain on our budget.
