Finally I’ve managed to get into spine clinic/gym for my long leg, scoliosis issues. Will it help? Who knows, I’m just excited to be able to start. I think i have 6 sessions, but next week I do missed one due to having a wearable ECG fitted.

Though I’m also doing my usual hip+ spine physio at home on alternative days, along with added exercises and stretches for meniscus tear and pes anserine bursitis in the knee. Which is surprisingly going well, and I’m feeling some progress too.
First off its a class of 5 of us, not my usual physiotherapist there, but 2 nice ones. It’s set of 5 exercises we have to do 60 secs do as many reps as you can, 30 second rest then 60 seconds again. The move to your left to the next exercise.
This week I’ve had Hip Bridges first, and I managed 15 reps X 2 in my 2 60 second slots

Next up was a nice one, Gentle knee roll overs, more of a stretch than exercises. Again 60 seconds, rest 30, then 60 seconds.

Then I got to the Suitcase Walk using a 5kg Kettlebell, I would have to walk without my walking stick, up and down the room for 60 seconds, then 30 second rest, then swap hands and do 60 seconds of walking. (This threw up issues as I walk so crooked and witn trendelenburg gait, so slow and steady with this, Left side was the worst) 6 reps each side.

Superman stretches have followed me here, so not only am I doing these at home alternate days, I had them here too. 15 reps both sides.

Next up was Jefferson Curls with a Bar and 5kg weights. Now I have Ehlers Danlos so I don’t necessarily stop where everyone else does when bending over, so I had to make sure I stayed in a healthy range. 15 reps in 60 seconds, rest 30 then back again to do 15 reps in 60 seconds.

And at the end, it was a Green Band hold out arms straight and then twist. Hugely tight in the lower back so this one was hard. But I impressed myself, 15 reps in 60 seconds then rest, then 60 seconds for the other side.
