As we have done for the last few years, we are making our pilgrimage to Glastonbury tor for the solstice, feels crazy to know we were just there in may and we are back again already.

But there is no denying the pull to the tor, to hear the drumming down of the sun on Friday, to drumming up the sun Saturday. It’s an experience to be out all night with like minded souls, drumming in a shamanic way, dancing the night away.
We set off Thursday, had a gentle day after all that driving. Friday was our big day, getting up the Tor watching the sun go down.

Usually we stay inside the tor dancing away to the shamanic drumming. But this year drumming was seriously lacking, so the pull to the free party and drum n bass tunes pulled us away from the Tor.

Found this free party with whole speaker rig and dj set up. Top tunes to get us to the sunrise. A place to dance and be wild.

And this is how we saw the Sunrise in, marking the Solstice day.

Bodily broken we get back to our bed at 6am for a couple of hours sleep, before embarking on the town to find food and somewhere to chill out.

Making witchy protection charms from twigs of hawthorn and grass.
Blessed Solstice Wishes for you all
