On a little trip around the Peak District, we visited Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge mostly to find the Highland Coos, but also to see the views.

We had a blustery wind and sunshine, almost perfect walking conditions if I’m honest. We found one baby Calf alone on Baslow Edge and he was so friendly and came up to us.

The rest of the herd were around 2 miles away!! Hope that Calf is OK.

These weren’t approachable, instead they were lying down, trying to determine the many flies that annoy them, though still beautiful to see, and be close too.

Similar to wuthering heights on stanage edge, but this one is curbar edge

Our park up in the evening
Glorious morning view

So it’s this day 1 of 3 in the Peak District, we walked Baslow Edge, Curbar Edge then slept at Stanage Edge.

Next up is Rivelin Valley, so stay tuned…
