My friend recently introduced me to cross stitch and we both bought the #CaterpillarCrossStitch Stitch Along for Halloween. Available here

You buy the kit but each part is released 1 part per month up to October, and you don’t see the full picture until October.

Bit ambitious for a newbie like me, but its halloween, its witchy and ghost themed so I was all in.

So far we are 2 parts in, so this is what it looks like so far.

And here’s mine

Haven’t finished part 2 yet, although a new part is coming on the 9th September I believe. But as I said its a totally new craft to me, I’ve made mistakes, and slow and steady wins the race. I’m really enjoying the challenge, and it’s helping with keeping my heart stable and calm. 

Best of all it helps with the stiffness in my hands as well, who knew it could keep arthritis at bay a bit.
