Hipster

I’ve struggled this week, its no surprise with moving house. It takes a great toll on the body. We haven’t officially moved in yet, but downsizing ours with skip runs, charity shops and packing boxes has really flared up my skeleton.

My lower back is grinding, it hurts to bend, to sit, to stand. My trochanteric bursitis is ever present in the hip, and same leg the knee also has bursitis (pes anserine) you could say I’m falling apart. I rang micats to ask about steroid injections in the back, but alas they don’t recommend it.

Instead they say to accept that moving properties, has seriously given me a flare, and that requesting new pain meds might be a good idea. I want to ask about baclofen. (Has anyone tried it?)  I’m also booked in to see them 13th October to maybe revise some physio exercises too.

Its hard to accept at times, that you’re never going to be pain free, and over time I’m just getting worse. I’m hoping he’s right and this level of pain is a huge flare up and will settle down eventually.

Had bloods taken on Friday to see what the inflammation levels are too, compare them to 15th August ones. Somehow I was meant to have them repeated after 2 weeks, but I didn’t find that out until it was 6 weeks later πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
