The last week with the keys to the old house, so its been a buzz of deep cleaning, getting some painting done, and some gardening before we hand them over.

The emotional shift from this house has been a wild ride. At first we were devastated we had to move, our children had grown up here, we had watched them all fly the best from here too. But since we have been in the new one, this doesn’t have the same emotional pull that it did have.

Its been a slog on the body to get this all done by the 7th Nov. But needs must. A good rest when its all done will be appreciated, and before we start the next stage, of truly unpacking and organising the new place.

We have a shed to build and board the loft so thats better to use as well. Its all go go go. I guess with the wet weather, at least it keeps us busy.
