Its 3 weeks since I sprained my ankle, and its healing well, so now I can be more pro active in physio finally.
I waited until the main pain, swelling and bruising had subsided.

I’m walking with the splint still on when I’m outside and I use my walking stick.

Its amazing how small injuries have a HUGE knock on effect on the hips. So im keen to rehab it as well as I can, so I can get back to physio for hips and back.

Starting simple and when lying down, I’m doing Ankle pumps, just like you do after having a hip replacement. 10 reps
Then moving onto creating circles slow and steady clockwise, then anti clockwise. 10 reps each way
Just these so far create an ache, so I’m not sure whether to progress yet. I see my Physiotherapist next week, so I can ask advise.
I do sit down and roller my foot on the foam roller, and flex the toes, as these are still bruised and sore.
