Its 6 weeks since I sprained my ankle today, and it had been almost normal ish…. its still swollen, pain had almost gone except when I move a bit quickly, or the tendon snaps. But this week its started to get really sore and achy again 😭😭😭Not sure if I should see anyone about it?  Though I do have an appointment with physio in a few weeks time.

So I’m back onto my walking stick, and talking of walking sticks, I recently won a fancy one!! On instagram thanks to Cameo Canes, this arrived Friday and omg its better than I ever imagined.

Complete with green and black ferrules, and green and black strap with charms inspired by wicked.

I’ve added exercises to the ankle to strengthen it. Using a resistance band. On top of circling and doing the Alphabet with the foot. And we have started to trying walking again too. ( I think the walking has flared it up, even though its only strolling around for a few mins)

Stiff, Sore but manageable and with pain relief we are getting there. But perhaps less walking outside, body isnt ready for it. More rest perhaps needed, which means more reading time.
