Black Friday saw me buying the Throne of Glass series, so I can follow on now I’ve finished all of A Court Of series prior.

I’ve also bought Crescent city as they too were cheap for Black Friday.
So what is Throne of Glass series about? Well I’m pleased to say it has almost zero spice in it unlike Acotar series. The story follows the journey of Celaena Sardothien, a teenage assassin in a corrupt kingdom with a tyrannical ruler, the King of Adarlan. As the story progresses, Celaena forms unexpected bonds and uncovers a conspiracy amidst her adventures.
So heaps of new world and realm building, and it concludes on the 8th book so I like that it does concludes and its a complete set.
But the dilemma is, what order do I read them in? Written order? Or timeline order? Which would you choose?
Crescent City follows Bryce Quinlan, a half-fae, half-human girl and her life on Midgard. As of January 2024, the series includes three books, House of Earth and Blood, House of Sky and Breath, and House of Flame and Shadow. There will be a fourth book added to the series; however, an official date has not been announced. So this is something that will potentially have a follow on book, so I’m glad they aren’t in a set box.
I would love to see all these series made into a film or TV series.
And so the reading begins, I’ve started with Throne of Glass
