Not sure how this series escaped me long enough to have two whole series out!!

But after hunting I’m a celeb on ITVX I spied this murder mystery Christmas series, and omg!! What a treasure this has turned out to be.

Christmas store owner Emily Lane’s sleuthing skills are put to the test as she investigates local murders. Despite Detective Sam Wilner’s growing affection for her, Emily’s enigmatic past raises suspicions about her true motives.
Emily Lane has recently moved to the small town of Forest Grove NY where she owns and operates Under the Mistletoe, a year ’round Christmas store. This outwardly quiet life belies her secret past, she having moved there to escape that past. She is finding that regardless of wanting to hide from that past, she can’t help but insert herself into troublesome situations especially when it comes to murders in town. She also finds that she rides a fine line in hiding that past as she does her own research about “Chimera” who would be out to get her if they knew where she was, and as she begins a friendship/romantic relationship with Sam Wilner, the town’s police detective.

Its the perfect antidote to sickly sweet Christmas films, but innocent enough to be enjoyable by all the family. Shockingly even my husband likes it.
