We had a rare sunny day coming up, and no plans, so we planned an adventure instead. Probably ambitious, but we could always stop off at the river and get in.

First up we have to take some coffees, and pack a lunch of course.

The drive is gorgeous, and alone would be an awesome day out, we managed to get up early so missed work traffic which was good.

Legs struggled, and omg did the one foot too. I had a 1cm shoe lift in the right leg and it eased a lot of my back pain, and kept that foot feeling fresh, other foot felt hot, and achy at the start. But we have no time limit, and we can sit and rest as many times as we like.
Our day started a tad chilly but no coat needed, some clouds too but it was super early and had time to warm up.

Milldale is a gentle flat ish walk along the river, you can go off to different more adventurous paths if you dare. It got hotter and hotter as the day wore on, so we ended our day with a wild swim dip! So I got a bit of water therapy, even though hydro has stopped now for a month..
