We wetted our Spoopy season with Hocus Pocus 1 and 2 which did not disappoint at all. And re watched all the classic Halloween Town, 1, 2, 3 and 4. And we wanted more….

New on Friday night on Netflix, it’s the next installment from Mick Flanagan. Previous ones were The Haunting of Hill House, followed by The Haunting of Bly Manor.

At a manor with a mysterious history, eight members of the Midnight Club meet each night at midnight to tell sinister stories — and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond. Jump scares straight away, and it touches on grief and loss, so maybe don’t watch if this would trigger you. Not styled like the previous ones, but I found myself enjoying it.

As homage to my love of all Marvel, I couldn’t wait to get Werewolf by Night on.

Not a usual Marvel MCU installment. But hey it’s a Halloween special so it tips the bill.

On a dark and sombre night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader; the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic. Black and white it threw me at first but I does hark back to those old hammer horror styles.

Omg I spotted this by accident so I HAD to watch it. I’m a huge fan of Monster high. I had no idea they had created a live action version, I’ve watched the cartoon ones.

When Clawdeen begins attending Monster High, she discovers a devious plot that would not only destroy her school, but it would also reveal her half-human, half-werewolf identity. It’s Saturday night, and it’s our movie for the evening. First off I notice the backstories are wrong compared to the previous films. It’s a little low budget, and now a musical? But we stuck it out and I honestly really enjoyed it. And who knows maybe if it’s received well, the budget would get bigger and better and we will get more!!

I’m probably one of the few people not to have seen Hocus Pocus! These type of films just aren’t for me really but I’m glad you’ve gotten stuck in to films you love x
