What a day, Up super early as its physio time and I know she will be wanting to see my single leg hip bridge. I think I’m pretty good at them now, still some tilting weakness but a huge improvement.

Oh my god, I thought I was better at them, turns out I’m terrible. I was doing them with my leg too high, which apparently makes it easier?? And I wasn’t holding it either. So I had to do them with the leg in line with the knee, and hold for 3 seconds. I managed 2, failed the third. Had a 20second rest then I could do the third. But my goodness the pain!! Apparently it will get better if I do them daily, but I hate this pain, it flares up and lasts for days hence why I struggle to do them as they want.

So I now have 6 weeks to practice more. It stresses me out how much it hurts. I often feel like they don’t believe it hurts how you say it does. Which is discouraging.

I feel like I need to focus more on the hip flexor stretches as well as these are so weak.

Came out of the appointment limping, needing my walking stick and a pulled muscle at the back of the leg, and flared up hip psoas pain and swelling. Where’s that hot water bottle???
