Not much as happened overall since last week, EXCEPT I managed 10 reps of a single hip bridge!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 And I’ve had a very successful weekend wearing the 2.5cm insoles in my new Merrel boots. And while I did have lower back pain, it wasn’t more than usual as it had been before.

While walking Mr Moon noticed on the one shorter leg I don’t Heel Strike, I plant the foot down flat, like a solid plod. So I tried to be more aware of walking and incorporate the heel strike first, and boy that woke up some muscles I don’t believe I’ve used for a long time. Could this help overall? Possibly for alignment surely.

New more soft insoles have arrived, so I’m keen to try these out. They flex more and they don’t have the arch block which often hurts me, as they are too soft to hold it. I’m hoping this helps the sore feet issue.

Now I’ve actually done 10 reps of the hip bridge, time to finesse it. Only held for 3 seconds, and I would like the hold to be stronger, and cleaner in releasing. But I did 10!!!!!
