Cabin fever had been getting to us, so we needed to venture out out, to find the hills and paths less travelled. Besides fresh air as well as physio on the hips can’t be a bad combo.
We opted for the easiest walk we could think of, and accepted that as it was a Saturday it could be potentially be busier than we would of liked.

As you can see the paths are reasonably flat and uncomplicated, I had a walking pole for stability and support. It started off pretty well, though the left hip (4yr old one) ached at first it often needs time to work itself out. Right hip ok but hates being lifted to step upwards. But towards the later part of our walk, the lower back had me waddling, up down from different leg heights so badly!! I’m just at a loss of what to do, it’s taken a week for the back pain to settle down to a manageable level, the first 3 days I could barely move from bed to sofa. It’s just not living. It’s massively hindering my life.

I am grateful we went even though it costs me greatly in pain, and energy levels. It definitely wiped me out from doing things for a week. But mentally it was just what I needed, to hear the birds, watch bunnies, see lambs and ducks really lifted my spirits.
Perhaps I need to chase up the results of my standing x-ray, as I’ve not heard a thing yet, been 5 weeks since I went. I have no idea who the results go too either 🤦🏻♀️
