This has been a WEEK!! NO official appointment yet, I had tried but it was made for the summer solstice time which would make the appointment actually 4 weeks late!! But as I cant make that, (I’m away for holiday) the next one they could find is actually about 10 weeks late 😳
So I’ve explained I’m still in a splint, and post op, I was meant to have an x-ray to see if the bone has healed as it hadn’t at 6 weeks. X-ray was due at 12 weeks. Until I get the all clear I can’t progress in physio or change into a more comfortable splint either.
Since my last update on the hand, I’ve had another 2 accidents, nothing major really, but it’s a case of knocking the bone, and me turning the air so blue! When I do. Will this always be a weak point, and extra boney sticky out part I knock, bash and drop things on?? I hope not.

I guess it’s my fault for not wearing the splint at certain times, it’s now actually made me fearful of not wearing it, as the bone seems to be a homing beacon to have everything knock it 🤣🤣🤣
Scar is doing well and at the top it feels flush with the skin, only further down does it feel slightly raised and more tender. I rub cream into it and gently moved the scar side to side to prevent scar tissue build up, I do this daily.
