Hipster

Just managing one health condition is tiring, add more to the mix, and it becomes exhausting, all time consuming and a massive juggling act too.

Well that would be nice if I could, save some traveling to Birmingham.

To progress with my hips I need a steroid injection into the psoas, but if I have a steroid injection, this then delays hand surgery. If I have hand surgery, I can’t do hydrotherapy that’s needed after a steroid injection. So it’s feeling like it’s all too complicated to organise.

So far I have a Hip consultation on 28th November to get me into the steroid injection waitlist, with hydro to start 4th December. And I see the Hand consultant on the 4th Dec? So I’m going to need to move Hydro as I wouldn’t of had the steroid by then. And I desperately need to see and get on the surgery wait list for hand.

I believe the time I should be able to have my hand surgery is January at the earliest. I need at least 6 weeks between steroid and surgery. Let’s hope once I see Hip Consultant it will be easier to time them all.
