It’s insane to think it’s been 3yrs since my last hip replacement. Honestly I thought I would have skipped off into the sunset by now.
But instead I have a crumbling body, chronic pain and a leg length difference that cripples my back. But I’m not here to put people off, truth is I probably should have done this sooner, less surgeries, less scar tissue, and obviously no one can help Ehlers Danlos and the arthritis it brings. So I don’t regret this surgery at all. It’s good to remember how awful life was beforehand.

I’m hoping in the next month as life settles down,we can get back to Yoga with Adriene, and our weekly walks. And hope this helps overall with the lingering back pains and flare ups of the 5yr old hip (right one)
Over the 3yrs I’ve not just recovered from the hip surgery and new leg length, I’ve had both thumbs done too, which actually hindered the hip recovery due to holding the walking stick, and now I have tennis elbow, hence my description of a crumbling body!!
