Not gonna lie on Friday when we checked in we were gutted at first, so many things felt wrong and subpar.

But a good sleep helped and we got some sunshine at last. Fearing the car we opted to stay on site and walked around the lakes and watched films.

Sunday we hunkered down for most of the day as Storm Ashley was wild in the morning. We popped out to Boscastle in the afternoon when it was just windy. That blew some cobwebs away for sure.

Once back we were shattered, not sure why. So we had curry (which was so hot it felt like i had lip fillers) and watched more films.

Monday we are hoping to do a coastal walk.
