Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

It’s been odd since my last post on hips, I had my thumb surgery and changed physio to manage that recovery, while not forgetting hips and the back.

This last 2 weeks has been wild, I’ve always felt like I had POTS and working out will make my heart race, and sometimes I feel like I’m walking through treacle. Fast forward to recently, I’ve had unusual heart racing when sitting, or once it even woke me up!! Super scary, and I definitely thought it was a heart attack. Turns out it could be my Thyroid thats overactive,  and all my suspected POTS, MCAS and PERIMENOPAUSE symptoms could have been this all along.

Though first blood test doesn’t say it is this yet, although the TSH it’s quite low, so I’m going to request another blood test to test T4 and T3 levels to be more definite. In the meantime I’ve quit my beloved coffee, cut down sugar, and white carbs in a bid to heal myself.

If it is a Thyroid issue, This will have a direct impact on my scoliosis and hips, in fact it could of been causing the scoliosis too!!

Getting better at these small squats, always remember to lean more on the longer leg to get a true straight posture
Chair Pelvic tilts are going well, though i prefer them on the floor

Next week I see a brand new MiCats physiotherapist so may be given new exercises, especially now I think I can get on and off the floor again, as the thumb and hand have healed enough.

It always seems like just when one body part is getting better another decides to act up
