Physio appointment for my Knee.
Once back from Scotland my mission was to speak to see someone about my knee pain, to try and nip it in the bud before it gets so much worse.
I tried to see a gp, but they insisted it’s a physio thing, so I have an appointment with a completely new physiotherapist and I can only hope they can request an mri for the knee.

The physio I saw did an array of examinations of the knee and produced a positive for medial meniscus tear as well as pes anserine bursitis. And I’ve now been given a load of new exercises.
First off beginner ones

The Physio studied the outer of the knee, and tested it for ACL, and then did The Apley Grind Test. This is used to evaluate for meniscal injury. The patient is asked to lie prone. The knee is flexed to 90°. The examiner rotates the leg internally and externally at the tibial condyles.
