When I say I’m falling apart joint by joint I really mean it. And I think it’s mostly due to ehlers danlos, but the whole thumb arthritis definitely made the elbows worse. It’s like the arthritis has just moved up the arm from the wrist area, is that  how it goes? Does anyone else have this?

So I’m back at the hospital for more exercises, just a different body part.

Starting with the easiest resistance band Yellow for this.

But baring in mind I have ehlers danlos so not to go to the full range I have, as that’s passed normal.

This time round I have learnt that while it’s in a flare to rest it, and do Stretches but not the strengthening exercises that I was given previously.  This makes total sense and I wish I had it spelled out earlier. As the previous exercises really really flared it up.

I’ve certainly found out the hard way in the past about the “don’t strengthen when flared-up” for various joints. I hope you see progress soon, but don’t chase the symptoms up to the next joint (shoulders I guess). 🙂
